Age Spots Symptoms and Causes

Age is a lesion to the epidermis associated with aging and is subject to ultraviolet radiation in the sunlight. They vary in shade from light brown to red or black and are located in areas most commonly seen from sunlight, especially the arms, face area, shoulders, lower arms and forehead, as well as the head when bald. Dark spots are also known as Liver spots that are not associated with the heart from a physical point of view, but are of comparable color.

Through the age group forty and more pores and skin are in position to restore direct exposure to the sun, and brown spots are very common in this age group, especially for those who spend less time in the sun.

In most cases, the brown spots do not pose a danger, and no therapy is needed. From time to time, they have been identified to obscure the diagnosis of epidermal cancer.

Some people want to get this place cleaned up and removed because they may look unpleasant to them; this is often done by electrosurgery, laser healing or cryotherapy.

Age points are flat, gray, brown or black. They vary in size and usually show on the face, fingers, shoulders and arms - the most visible part of the sunlight. However dark spots are very common in adults over the age of forty, they can also be seen in younger people.

True black spots are not damaged and do not need treatment, but they can look like cancerous growth. For aesthetic reasons, dark spots are often dried using epidermal bleaching products or removed. However, stopping brown spots - by avoiding sunlight and using sunscreen - may be the easiest technique to maintain a youthful appearance and to prevent pores and dark spots.

What can be a complication with dark spots

Symptoms

Chunks of fruit vary in size from freckle to over one centimeter in length and can be combined, making it even more prominent.

Other hints about the dangers of sunlight

Typically, dark spots are accompanied by other indicators of sunlight injury, which include:
- Strong face line
- Dry, rough skin tone
- Thinner, look more through looking at skin color

When to see a doctor

You may not like the way they appear, but brown spots are generally harmless and do not involve medical care. However, your health care provider should evaluate black spots or changes in appearance as this fact may indicate melanoma, pitting and skin cancer.

It's best to have any new pores and skin changes evaluated by your healthcare provider, especially if the place or lesion:
- is a black pigment
- Is fast growing in dimension
- Has incredible boundaries
- Has an odd mix of colors

Cause

Uv light sources accelerate the production of melanin. Melanin is a dark pigment in the dermis that gives your skin a standard dye. The extra melanin - which is developed to protect the larger cellular layer of skin - results in darker skin. Dark spots grow when additional melanin gets clumped or made in increasing concentrations above the standard level.

Often, it takes the direct exposure of sunlight year round for these black spots to show - they usually grow slowly over time. By using commercial tanning lighting units and tanning beds, it can finally show the same symptoms.

In addition, exposure to sunlight, essentially growing longer, can lead to new generations of melanin and subsequent brown spots. Genes also play a role in how you might be exposed to the development of dark spots.

While some people may show brown spots, you may be more likely to develop age spots if you have light skin or have a history of direct or extreme sun exposure.
