We continue our discussion of this interesting topic today. Today we're going to talk about body language but not what you normally think of as body language. Although it is important that we investigate what is called matching and mirroring for now we will take a closer look at body language. Quantum display if you will.
When you are with someone under any circumstances if the business or start taking note of the following:
Skin colour
Skin Tone
Breathe
Lower lip size
Eyes
Let's look at each individual. With the color of the skin looking for a change in skin color especially from light to dark. If you practice with a person of color, imagine that person in a black-and-white photo and see if you can detect the change.
The skin tone refers to the facial muscles. If someone has a face cream or powder, the way the light reflects their skin can change. There are over 80 muscles in the face and many are just making micro movements. As you begin to see people with your high-intensity acuity, you will be able to detect these micro-muscle movements.
Breathing is the next thing to pay attention. Some people breathe in the lower abdomen. Some people breathe in the middle of the abdomen and some in the upper chest. People who breathe in the upper part of the chest are usually shallow predators and this can be a clue to their preferred representation system. We will discuss the representation system in a later post.
Next we have the bottom lip size. When I first learned the NLP, I found this very interesting. As I've seen in the lower lip size, I can see that the lower lip size actually changes. It's very interesting to see.
Eye or window to soul as some people refer to the last person on this list but certainly not the least. As we continue our journey of exploring relationships you will see that the eyes tell a very accurate story of what is going on in a person's mind. Try it now. Ask someone the color of the room they grew up in when they were children. Because they answered looking at their movements. If you do this right and don't turn your eyes away you will see that they are finally moving their eyes and to your right, left. How do I know that? Well I'm not a psychic but this eye movement has proven to be very predictable.
So what to do with establishing a relationship? Well all the queues you will take as you develop your mental acuity will give you some very precise clues as to whether your communication is reaching the person you are working with.
