Why Bleaching Age Spots With Hydroquinone is Not the Best Option

Age spots also known as dark spots or browns are imperfections caused by sun exposure. They usually appear in the late 40s, but they can also affect you at a younger age if you don't take proper precautions. There are many treatments to get rid of age spots and most of them target hyperpigmentation problems containing Hydroquinone. What people don't know is that this ingredient can cause some side effects.

Hydroquinone is one of the most widely used skin bleaching products out there. While it is known that fair skin tones (more than dark tones) can benefit from the treatment containing these compounds, there are many side effects that you should be aware of and therefore think twice about using this treatment.

Hydroquinone - Restrictions

Not only do the elements cause side effects, but there are some restrictions on how this treatment should be used. Here are just a few examples:

Avoid products if your skin is sunburned, dry air. If used in this situation, the skin can get worse and you will need to wait until your skin is healed before using the treatment.

You should avoid using products that contain Hydroquinone if you use products that can cause skin irritation. Coarse soaps, cleansers, hair dyes, alcohol-containing skin products, spices or lime.

Avoid direct sunlight because direct sunlight or artificial UV light can make your skin extremely sensitive and exposed to sunlight.

Because there are many restrictions when using Hydroquinone-containing treatments, it is almost impossible to use them at all. If you want an age-old cream that will address this problem without worrying about side effects, Hydroquinone may be the wrong choice.

Hydroquinone - Side-effects

Some of the side effects that this substance can have on your skin can not only affect your appearance, but also affect your well-being and health. These are just some of the effects:

Respiratory Difficulty

Burning or Stinging

Swelling Your Face, Lips or / and Tongue

Hives

To be completely honest, it's safe to say that Hydroquinone is a treatment you want to avoid altogether. Who wants to have restrictions when they want to get rid of some imperfections and who want side effects that can make your skin look worse? Alright, not me and maybe neither are you.

Natural Eye Care Cream

As we all know that the sun is the number one enemy of the skin, it is highly recommended to protect the skin with sun protection above SPF15 +. Applying sunscreen daily can prevent age spots from ever affecting your skin, but if you already have some that you want to heal, you will need a softer but effective alternative treatment.

Rumex extract is an ingredient used to prevent melanin from forming age spots and imperfections. It is used in many natural skin moisturizers and is also suitable for sensitive skin types. Without any side effects, this ingredient will remove any imperfections associated with hyper pigmentation.
