Ingredients
3 lbs. pork, chicken or turkey
2-4 cloves of garlic to taste
1 large chopped onion
1-2 teaspoons
1 large bell pepper - green, yellow or red
4-6 16 oz. your favorite white bean can
1-3 chili jalapeno chopped finely
If using pork, use pork shoulder and cook for about 2 ½ - 3 hours until you can pull it apart. With chicken or turkey, cook for about 1½ hours in one inch of water at 350 degrees in a large roasting pan with a good lid to hold steam.
Use chicken or turkey breast with skin and bones for added flavor. There is no need to use bare breasts because they are more sensitive to the skin and bones and more economical too.
If the chicken does not divorce within 1½ hours, cook for another 15 minutes until it does not escape. With chicken or turkey, before you add the following ingredients, pull out unwanted bones and stews, and more. Only meat is used in chili peppers.
The last half hour of cooking, add the following ingredients.
Cook the chillies for an additional ½ hour. Add 4-6 16 oz. your favorite white bean can.
Stir in the beans and leave in the oven until the beans are hot and let cool for 20-30 minutes. The spirit of service.
