One of the treatments used to treat Rosacea is IPL or Light Pulsed Intense. One of the reasons why we know that someone has Rosacea is when the vessels and capillaries on the face are exposed to redness and inflammation. What IPL does is use a flash of light that appears to close the blood vessels and capillaries. Many people are unaware that IPL uses a special filter that emits only the right color of light that will be absorbed by the skin's blood vessels. This means that IPL light beams will only affect the enlarged blood vessels that will cause the blood vessels to close. Normal skin will not be affected by IPL light beam. Closed blood vessels, capillaries and red face will be removed.

Keep in mind that it's almost impossible to treat all areas at the same time.
