Get Rid of Those Sun Spots Once and For All!

Are you concerned about brown spots (AKA "sun spots")? If so, you are not alone. These areas are technically referred to as hyperpigmentation, and can be caused by: sun exposure, hormone factors, prescription drugs, and wound healing after the skin is damaged. These dark spots are associated with aging - just like wrinkles! Let's explore hyperpigmentation, and more importantly, how you can help treat it.

WHY DO I DO WITHOUT BROWN?

1. The sun
The color of your skin depends on the amount of melanin available. Overall skin color is genetically determined, but factors such as the environment (SUN!) And hormones can cause your skin to produce more color. Scientists believe that the primary function of melanin is to protect skin cells from harmful sunlight. This is our first defense against the sun as it absorbs sunlight before they can do any serious damage. That means when our skin changes, it's actually our body's. how to combat sun damage! Therefore, people with lighter skin tend to burn more easily (but all skin tones need to be protected from UV rays).

Wearing SPF daily is essential to prevent sun damage! Did you know that most people suffer from sun damage on the left side of their face? That's right. It's because as we drove, the sunlight hit us on the left! This means driving, walking in and out of the house, and other daily activities that put us in danger of sun damage.

2. Hormones

Even if you protect the sun, you can still be affected by hormone pigmentation. It is believed that hormone changes can cause melanin cells to function over time. Birth control, pregnancy and different stages of menopause can lead to darkening of the skin. If you fall into any of these categories, take extra precautions to wear sunscreen whenever you are outdoors.

Melasma (AKA "pregnancy mask") is defined by dark spots around the forehead, chin, upper lip, nose and cheeks. The combination of estrogen and UV light may be to blame. While it may be common during pregnancy, birth control pills can also cause problems. Fortunately, it usually disappears after pregnancy (but can return)!

3. Healing wounds (AKA "Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation")

It is associated with several types of skin injuries. The injury may be due to insect bites, rash, cuts, hair removal, improper laser treatment, acne, and so on. When our bodies are gone injured, inflammation occurred. This can trigger melanin production, and is more common in darker skin.

Certain medications can make the skin more prone to hyperpigmentation. Talk to your doctor if this is a concern, and don't stop taking the medication unless you have a doctor's consent. Wearing SPF 30 daily can help prevent problems!

WHAT ABOUT FREKKES AND "SPEED AGE"?
Age points (technically referred to as lentigines) are dark brown, which is due to sun exposure during those years. They can range in size (2mm-30mm), and are harmless. More than anything, we don't like them because we think they show us our age!

Freckles tend to affect the color of the lighter skin, and are usually genetic. They are also harmless, and sometimes lighten in winter. Please see your doctor if you are afraid that sun spots may be associated with skin cancer

HOW CAN I GET HIPERPIGMENTATION DONE?

First, let's show you what to use ... hydroquinone! This material has been banned in Europe, but is currently under review by the US FDA. It has good properties for radiating skin, but may be carcinogenic and can be very annoying for many people.

Next, you need to select a product line that contains a large percentage of the ingredients to be discussed. Do your research, and select a line that has a proven track record of brightening the skin. (I personally prefer the ChromaWhite Dermalogica TRom, but please do your research to make an informed decision). Now, on the material ...

Lactic Acid is known for its lightweight nature, and its ability to peel off altered skin cells. Vitamin C has been used for a long time to brighten dark spots. Zinc Glycinate, Phytic Acid, Niacinamide, Gluconic Acid and Ferula Foetida (Giant Fennel Root) help in suppressing activities that activate the skin. White Tea Extract (Camellia Sinesis) can help speed up your lighting and help protect your skin against future changes! Oligopeptide-34 is relatively new at the scene, and has a radiant skin effect.

WHAT ARE DAILY DAYS I AM IDEAL DECISION?

Once you've selected your product line, it's time to commit to the process. After cleaning, peel off (3-5 times a week). Exfoliation helps lighten the skin, and allows the following products to penetrate better. Apply any specific products provided by your line. Always, always, always use SPF 15 minimum daily! You won't be able to see results if you allow the sun to further damage your skin (remember, even driving gives us sun damage).

Remember, you really need to do your own skin routine. These dark spots may disappear, but they often take time (especially if you've been doing this for years). This means you have to do the whole routine (not just one step) ... you can't rely on one "hero" product to do all the work. You should expect at least 4 months before you start seeing results, but at the same time, be proud to know that you are taking the right steps, and on your way to skin health!
