What Type of Warts Do You Have? Simple Ways to Identify Them

What is the meaning of the term warts that brings us to the children's book with a witch with ugly lice on her nose? All bent over and scary? What makes us scared of warts?

Warts are usually caused by a variety of Papilloma viruses that cause abnormal growth of the epiderma cells. The virus is also known to cause cancer. Some types of warts have nothing to do with the Papilloma virus either. So how do you know what you have?

There are technically 5 main warts:

Common warts are the most common of all warts. The most common medical term for warts is Verruca vulgaris. They are usually just distractions without any major pain or other effects on the body. They usually appear as bumps and bumps in the face and body due to blood clots. They are always benign and the risk of cancer does not exist. So don't worry if this is all you have.

The second most common wrist is the genital warts. Everyone knows what this is. They are the most common sexually transmitted diseases. They are usually characterized by painful bruises in the genital area around the penis or vagina or anus. They can spread to the thighs easily. And the frequent contact with clothing in the region makes it very painful. They can be controlled in many ways. If this is what you have, be careful what you do. Get yourself checked and treated as quickly as possible. They are easy to control with home remedies too.

The third worm is plantar warts. They almost always show up on their feet. These lesions are mostly flat or slightly curved. They are a bit painful especially with the shoes constantly rubbing them. Be sure to take off your shoes and let your skin breathe. They spread by touch and the rate of infection increases if the skin on your foot has been violated just like the cut on your foot. If you have a cut, usually cover it with a bandage. Treatment for plantar warts is difficult and lengthy. It is important to go to a doctor if you have this. The risk is very high if you are a diabetic because if the warts are out of control, they may be bad enough to require serious medical intervention such as amputation.

The fourth type of sharpness is flat warts. They are easy to identify. They appear on the face or neck and have higher incidence rates for women. They are nothing more than a major distraction for women who want to look good. They usually fade on their own but the skin doesn't change and it's a bit annoying. Most women usually use makeup or over the counter skin lotion to treat them. If you have a bad case, they may have surgery.

The fifth type is Filiform or bitten warts, again like Flat warts, they are just a nuisance. They are different from flat warts. It's like ugly little fingers that stick to your eyelids or lips. They are difficult to remove and very unpleasant. They can be easily removed with outpatient or freezing procedures.
