What is Collagen?

What does collagen and keratin have to do with my skin care? Collagen is the major protein found in connective tissue. It forms 25-35% of your entire body's protein content. It is also quite unique compared to other proteins and its three helical structures have been the subject of scientific research as well as modern art.

Scientists have been able to model the structure of collagen molecules for some time, but recently scientists have been able to synthesize them in the laboratory. The ability to do this has wide application in the field of medicine. Finally, it can be used for sewing, bandage and other purposes.

Collagen fibers

Our cartilage, ligaments and tendons are mainly made up of collagen. It is a collagen fiber that prevents the skin from sagging and since the production of new fibers decreases with age, it has become a key ingredient in anti-aging cosmetics of all kinds. But, like most anti-aging drugs, they don't work.

The molecular structure is too large to penetrate the skin cells. Although it can be penetrating, the process that manufacturers use to make it soluble also makes it inactive. Skin cells cannot be used for anything. From any angle, it's easy to see that you can't increase the skin's collagen content by using protein on the surface. Our collagen fibers are located four to five layers in the dermis, located below the epidermis.

What is Keratin?

The skin we see on the face and our body is called the epidermis. The main component of the epidermis is keratin. 95% of epidermal cells are keratin cells. The other five percent are Langerhans cells, Merkel cells and melanin, which is responsible for the color of the skin.

There are some anti-aging creams that actually work, but they do not contain collagen. They contain a form of bio-active keratin.

The patented process is unique

Using a patented process, a company in New Zealand can extract keratin from the wool and make it dissolved, without making it inactive. Skin cells can absorb it, take it and use it. In clinical trials, it has shown an increase in the number of new cells, increased stamina and moisture content, while reducing inflammation and redness that accompany it.

Bioactive keratin is not the only ingredient you want to look for. Antioxidants are required to fight and repair free radical damage, the main reason for their appearance. Older skin cells contain fewer antioxidants and more free radical molecules. Without the supplement, this imbalance will persist until all cells and fibers are at least partially damaged. Free radicals can also damage collagen protein, if left untreated.

The best antioxidant is NANOLIPOBELLE HEQ10. It has been shown to penetrate all layers of the epidermis and through the epidermis, neutralizing any free radicals in contact with it. There are other important ingredients as well. Wakame kelp for example benefits. But whatever you do, don't buy collagen-containing creams. It's okay. It's just a bad idea. Make sure anti aging skin products contain "functional keratin". It works well. I know from personal experience.
