Want An Amazing Complexion? The Best Skin Lightening Creams!

For centuries, certain cultures have treated fair skin as a sign of health and beauty. Pregnancy, hormone imbalance, birth control pills and sun exposure can lead to hyper pigmentation. The location of the sun or age is caused by exposure to UVB sunlight. This leads to increased production of melanin, which is a colored pigment on your skin. Melanin is formed from melanocytes, which are controlled by the enzyme tyrosinase. When hyper pigmentation occurs on the skin of the epidermis, the skin's brightening products can help to remove dark patches on the skin. Asian skin tends to have hyper pigmentation, so skin whitening treatments are very popular to repair and soften the skin. Skin digestion treatments include laser treatments, skin creams (beware of bleaching, as these can damage the skin) soaps, lotions and pills to brighten the skin. Hyper pigmentation treatment can sometimes produce very good results.

Asian skin differs from white in that they contain larger melanosomes, which are melanins that contain packets made by melanocytes extracted by surface skin cells. Due to its larger size, its degradation and dispersion are much slower than that of white. Asian skin also produces more melanin in response to UVB sunlight than white skin.

Skin Whitening Agent

Kojic acid

There are many skin whitening creams, some safer and more effective than others. One of the most effective skin whitening products is koalicite, which is a derivative of koic acid. Kojic acid is a by-product of the malting rice fermentation process used in the production of Japanese rice wine. It inhibits the tyrosinase enzyme, thus preventing melanin production (as described above). Kojic dipalmitate is an alternative to koic acid because it is more stable in formulation. It also has the added benefit of being an excellent anti-oxidant. This is a safe skin moisturizer if used at the right concentration. If used twice a day for about 6-8 weeks, significant skin lightening occurs. Many have found that it is a safer alternative to skin bleaching, without any adverse side effects or skin rash. Kojic dipalmitate is a very important skin whitening substance for those who want to have the perfect skin.
One of the best lightening creams is Lightenex by PharmaClinix, which uses 5% Kojic Dipalmitate, followed by an effective sunscreen, for example Moisturix SPF25.

Hydroquinone

Many skin whitens contain hydroquinone, which is a powerful inhibitor of melanin. It has been banned in many countries for fear of cancer risk. Research has found that topical applications show negative reactions, such as burns, rash and even scars. Hydroquinone can be an unstable ingredient in cosmetic formulations, which turns brown when exposed to air or sunlight. Therefore, they become ineffective immediately after the packaging opening.

Sunscreen

Sunscreen can be very effective in preventing damage or darkening of the skin with ultraviolet light from the sun. Higher SPFs are recommended (25 or more) as they contain more UVA protection. Sun exposure is one of the most common causes for hyper pigmentation, and it is very important to use it in conjunction with lightening creams or masseur treatments.
Laser treatment

Skin lightening laser treatment is a very drastic procedure to reduce hyper pigmentation. They do not match the darker skin and the results are not always consistent. Problems have been reported when undergoing laser treatment, such as hypo or hyper pigmentation.

Tretinoin

Tretinoin is less effective than kojic treats as an ingredient in skin brightening creams, as the time taken to see improvements in skin tone is quite long. It has other benefits, such as improving skin elasticity, texture and collagen production.

Alpha Hydrozy Acid (AHAs)

This can eliminate skin color; only a qualified doctor should do this kind of shiny skin. However, it is generally assumed that the main benefit of AHA is to remove the unhygienic, peeling (peeling) skin from which hyper-pigmented cells can accumulate.

Azelaic acid

Azelaic acid is a grain component of wheat, rye and barley. It can be used in preventing melanin production as well as in acne treatment. However, it is not a safe or effective material as it is transferred to kojic.
