Collagen masks may sound like a good idea in theory. They envision mud masks and oatmeat masks and make us think about natural and soothing remedies for aging skin. However, I know from experience that this mask is completely useless.
Why this?
When I know less about skin care products than I do now, I used to think that lotions and creams containing collagen are a great idea.
I think it will work just like any other beneficial cream. After all, we lose a significant amount of collagen and elastin because we reach middle age because our bodies produce less. Why not raise my level with a collagen mask?
Unfortunately, I'm a bit wrong.
I allow myself to be slipped by fancy ads and waste my money on products that don't do anything for my skin. I know for a fact that collagen masks will not help you either.
The sad truth is that collagen protein is too big. Your pores can't accept it. They can't pass through the first layer of your skin — something called the epidermis. Molecules cannot be destroyed or modified to be loaded either.
When I tried this product, all I was worried about was improving my appearance. I didn't research the materials, and I ended up wasting my money. This is why reviewing your product is so important. I learned the hard way that any product — skin cream, collagen mask, or lotion — containing collagen as an ingredient would not work.
That's not to say that the cream won't instantly moisturize or soothe your skin, but the collagen in it is useless. Even worse, not doing your homework can cause you to buy products with ingredients that can actually endanger your skin and body with prolonged use.
I can't stress how important it is to know your product before you buy it.
