Dangers to Hydroquinone
Hydroquinone, previously a very popular skin respiratory treatment, has been proven to cause serious side effects. It is currently banned in Asia and may be banned in the West soon. It is also a suspected carcinogen, among others.
Hydroquinone is far from the only ingredient traditionally used in skin whitening that has been proven to cause harmful or harmful side effects. Chemical bleaching agent

Like other bleaching agents, hydroquinone works by removing its pigmentation skin. It alters the natural structure of the skin, eliminates or inhibits the synthesis of melanin, a substance in your skin that causes color. The problem with this is that the removal of melanin leaves your skin unprotected against UV rays. Most skin brightening products contain sunscreen to cover this loss of protection.
The longer the bleaching agent is used, the more likely it is to form melanin in the deeper layers of the skin. This makes the skin lighter, but also more vulnerable to damage.
Hydroquinone, unfortunately, is also found to damage connective tissue in the skin and cartilage. If you use bleach products, you may find the end result to be rough and smooth skin. The first instinct in this case is to use more cream to correct the problem, which can aggravate and cause unexpected damage to your skin.
