Baking soda to stop sweating is just one of the many useful uses for home remedies. Who thinks that the same product you use to clean your clothes and dishes and whiten your teeth can also save you from the stress of causing excessive sweating.
I have been on a sweaty road in the past and it has cost me a lot of opportunities to save face from the insult that excessive sweating can cause me. I know that I need to take action and I find that I am not alone in battle. Studying and experimenting with treatment has taken me one step further and I am on my way to regaining my life and you can do it too.
One of the earliest solutions I landed on was baking soda to stop sweating. It accelerates the evaporation of sweat as it is alkaline while your body sweat is acidic. The combination of alkali and acid forms a gas that makes your sweat dry quickly.
Here are two baking soda recipes to treat your excess sweat
1. Get a large enough basin to fully soak your hands or feet. Fill with warm water and make half and half with baking soda. Mix well until you get a cloudy impression. Immerse your hands or feet for 25-30 minutes when the solution penetrates your skin. Take baking soda that gathers at the base of the basin and rub hands or feet with it. Dry your hands or feet with towels afterwards and refrain from washing with soap and water. Do this treatment for 5 days to a week and you will feel the difference from your initial attempt.
2. This treatment can be done after a bath or shower. Use a loofah or body scrub to wipe off your arms, arms, legs and other parts of the body where you sweat excessively. This process will allow baking soda to seep through your pores. Prepare your bathtub with warm water and add 1-2 cups of baking soda. Soak your entire body unless your head is in the bath for 15-20 minutes. There is no need to rinse your body and just hit your skin with a towel.
