Benefits and Uses of Neem, Tulsi, Wheat Grass and Amla on Skin Care

You may be surprised to learn that the skin is the largest organ in the human body. It is a type of sheath that separates us from the outside environment. It protects our internal organs from exposure to harsh climatic conditions. Any skin problem or any type of infection on the skin can pose a threat to the internal organs. It helps keep our vital organs from hanging out of the infected body easily. It also helps in body temperature. More importantly, it helps us feel the touch.

According to modern science skin is made up of three layers. Named for the outer layer epidermis, the middle layer dermis and the subcutaneous fat of the inner layer. Ayurveda believes that the skin has six layers.

The epidermis is the outer layer of the skin and is the part of the skin, visible to our normal eyes. The skin layer continues to produce new cells, such as 30000 to 40000 cells that disappear every minute. It contains the names of very important content through which we discuss the most current day-to-day matters. Glide conveys color to our skin. The more darker the content is the skin. In fact, melanin is your skin's protective device that helps you protect against sunlight and ultraviolet radiation which is very dangerous or is often called UV rays. This is why tanning occurs in people exposed to the sun. But circulating production is not enough to provide all round protection to protect the skin from dehydration and cancer cell production. The important thing about the epidermis is that it is made up of dead cells rather than vascular i.e. it has no blood supply and nerve supply.

The second is the dermis layer located below the epidermis. Because it is under the epidermis then the dermis is invisible. The dermis plays a very important role in the protection and perception that the skin plays. It works a lot, as it has nerve endings, vascular supply and glands (both oil or sebum glands and sweat glands). Because of the presence of these factors we can feel the touch sensation. Vascularity to the skin starts in the dermis and thus helps in providing proper nourishment to the skin cells. The dermis also contains sebum glands or better known as oil glands, which helps our skin in lubrication thus helping to catch any infection. It makes our skin function as a raincoat, thus helping the skin to become clogged and swollen in the water. The sweat glands play an important role in our lives. The most important thing is that it helps in controlling our body temperature; Second, it plays a role in the excretion of the harmful toxins that may form in our bodies; Third, it helps protect our body from microorganisms because it has antibacterial properties.

The third and most important of all is the subcutaneous fat layer. Her role is to work as a shock absorber in her body and to keep her body from moving to outside temperatures. It also helps to hold the internal organs tight as they are under the skin. It also contains very strange features that only mammals have hair follicles. This layer is full of hair follicles where hair grows. Hair nourishment depends on the sebum gland, which opens up to the hair follicles until it is proven to shine with nutrients.

Skin type

It is very important to know what type of skin you have, as skin care can help reduce skin problems and prevent disease.

There are 5 main types of skin: -

1. Normal skin: It's not the most common type of skin. It is soft, smooth, supple and has textured skin without any dead cells and no pores. Proper distribution of oil and moisture is there which makes it a balanced skin i.e. not too dry and not too greasy. It is clear and free of defects

2. Dry skin: The skin is said to be dry, when the skin becomes dull, wrinkled, reddened and flaky especially around the eyes. Dry skin can lead to the formation of fine lines on the cheeks, under the eyes and mouth. This condition occurs when the oil or sebaceous gland oil does not provide good nourishment and lubrication to the skin. If proper care is not given to the skin, it can cause wrinkles at a young age.

3. Oily or oily skin: The skin is thick, dull and looks shiny. Because of the excess oil or sebum through the oil glands, the pores open and the skin becomes sticky, attracting dirt and dust from the environment. Due to this tendency, dirt and dust particles block open pores of oily skin in oily skin causing problems such as blackheads, whiteheads, acne and other skin problems.

4. Combined skin: The most common skin texture is a combination of two types of skin, namely dry skin areas and some oily areas. It usually follows the "T" pattern where the oily part is usually the vertical portion of the nose across the nose (nose, mouth and chin) and horizontal in front of the head and is thus referred to as the "T-Zone". The left area is a bit dry.

5. Sensitive skin: This type of skin is very sensitive to any changes in environmental conditions or any allergies, which may be due to procedures such as bleaching, makeup and other external applications.

How to know what type of skin you have

This is a very easy way to know which skin type you have by following the procedure mentioned below.

Whenever you get up in the morning, wipe your face with a dry towel shortly after leaving your bed. If you are looking for oil on a tissue, you have oily or oily skin. If you find grease in the middle panel then you have a combination skin. If there is no grease at all, you are either dry or normal skin.

Now to check if your skin is dry or normal. Just do one thing, wash your face with soap and water. If you are left with a feeling of stretchiness and tightness on your skin then you have dry skin otherwise you have normal skin. If in your daily routine it is easy to get skin allergies, rash, itching and boils then your skin should be sensitive

Our skin has three types of problems

1. The first disease is caused directly by the skin from an external source.

These include diseases that directly infect the skin from the outside such as fungal infections in the early stages and so on

2. The second disease is caused by systemic disorders.

3. Third, it can represent symptoms of other diseases only.

In this skin is a mere face representing the symptoms of any disease that occurs in the body. For example relaxing the skin, which may be due to dehydration.

Hyperpigmentation - Information on Hyperpigmentation

Hyperpigmentation is a common, often harmless condition, where patches of skin become darker than normal skin. This darkness occurs when excess melanin, a brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms a deposit on the skin. Hyperpigmentation can affect the skin color of any person.

Hyperpigmentation may be due to sun damage, inflammation, or other skin injuries, including those related to acne. People with darker Asian, Eastern Indian, Mediterranean or African blacks are also more prone to hyperpigmentation, especially if they have excessive sun exposure.

Hyper pigmentation is often a remnant of inflammatory acne lesions. PIH laboratories can tolerate acne and mildew, in addition to more serious lesions. However, the farther away the fugitive, the bigger and darker the PIH is likely to become. Choosing or appearing acne increases the chance of developing postinflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Sun exposure often reverses therapeutic outcomes, affecting the long-term treatment process. Therefore, the first line of therapy for hyperpigmentation is a broad-spectrum sunscreen used in conjunction with phenolic agents such as hydroquinone, or with nonphenolic agents such as tretinoin, azelaic acid, or koic acid. There are hundreds of UV formulations that absorb chemicals in various concentrations.

The overall darkening of the skin may be due to the pigmented chemicals in the skin. Polishing, gold, and iron each have a characteristic color when viewed on the skin. Some medicines and chemicals, such as bilirubin, can end up as skin deposins and eliminate them.

Hyperpigmentation is caused by an increase in melanin, a substance in the body that is responsible for the color (pigment). Certain conditions, such as pregnancy or Addison's disease (function of the adrenal gland), may result in greater melanin production and hyperpigmentation. Exposure to sunlight is a major cause of hyperpigmentation, and will eliminate hyperpigmentation.

Melanin, a brown pigment produced by certain cells in the skin called melanocytes, is responsible for the color of the skin. Melanin production is stimulated by a pituitary hormone known as the melanocytes (MSH). Other pigments appear on the skin more often.

release creams and skin creams are on sale at the counter claiming they will help the place fade faster. Most of them use 2% hydroquinone solution, something that will not change your natural skin tone. However, you need to treat the entire skin area with the product and it will lighten the ton. If the 2% solution doesn't work for you, you can ask your dermatologist about getting a stronger concentration.

The sudden onset of an unwanted color, though the tone (pink) is not the hyper aesthetic pigment we normally use. More likely, it is pre-cancerous atopic keratosis that has been seen. The evidence does not seem alarming IF it is accompanied by a therapeutic regime, which can actually "light up" the place.

Azelex works for PIH, but it is a secondary agent, IMO. I usually go with HQ first, but use koic acid or Azelex if they have problems with HQ. I have a 6% locally sourced HQ cream for stubborn cases.

Skin sensitive to sunlight must be protected by shade or sunscreen with SPF of 15 or greater. Skin cancer must, and the clearest benign lesions possible, be removed through surgery. Laser surgery is an effective removal technique for many local lesions. Because it spreads so fast, melanoma should be removed immediately, as well as some surrounding tissue to prevent ragwort.

Placenta of Attraction

In the 2004 film, Three Extremes, Chinese actress Bai Ling raises an eyebrow at playing an unlicensed midwife from a fetus and a placenta. She sells it to wealthy women who believe that eating them will reverse the signs of aging.

Although Bai himself claims to be disgusted with the idea of eating placenta, there are rumors that many other celebrities are doing so in hopes of improving their health by restoring their youthful skin.

Singaporean actress Andew Seow, 36, has been waiting a long time to get her hands on the placenta. He said "I've seen people take it, and I believe it works." She said she had heard the story of young Taiwanese actress Lin Ching-hsia, 53, taught by her mother to "cut it and eat it with porridge". Then there was another unnamed actress, who, after giving birth, had "super skin, super breasts and super butt" as she was known to have eaten organs "full of amino acids and proteins," she said.

Although vegetarian, Seow does not think of eating something that, when raw, resembles a slimy heart. "The placenta," he said, "naturally comes out with the baby, if it is not used, it is simply useless."

Origin of Species

The placenta is a blood-rich organ that develops in female mammals during pregnancy. It represents the uterine wall and the half-fetal envelope, which is enclosed by a central rope. In the long run, it is about 18 cm long and 5 cm thick. It is removed during childbirth, which is part of the birth. Its function is to transfer oxygen and nutrients from the mother to the fetus. It also releases carbon dioxide and waste from the fetus through the central rope that the mother will dispose of.

Dr Peter Chew, a consultant for cardiology and gynecology, says that although people have been talking about "frying, drying and eating placenta" for years, patients rarely ask to look after them. He said: "The placenta is full of hormones, so in theory, they have to repair their skin, even though there is no medical evidence to support this."

As for the possible side effects of eating it, he said "there is no danger, as it is your own organ." But in order to stay safe, he suggested cooking the placenta before use.

Dr Douglas Ong, a gynecologist, said the KK Women's Hospital (KKH) was "used to have placenta refrigerators whose contents were sold to cosmetics companies". KKH could not confirm his claim but a spokesman said that if it did exist, it would have been "a long time ago". Dr Ong claimed the practice stopped after 'HIV and other viruses arrived at the scene.'

She was uncomfortable with the mothers consuming their placenta, calling it "narrow cannibalism". She says: "Women will strive for beauty but there are other ways to achieve good skin."

Power of life

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) experts claim that the human placenta has been consumed by the Chinese for 2500 years.

Dr Low Chai Ling, medical director of an established medical institution, said "Chinese people believe it contains" qi "(Chinese for vitality) and uses it as a remedy for various issues such as fatigue, rejuvenating aging skin and promoting breast milk production" .

In Singapore, human placenta from China is available in dry form from a Chinese medical hall.

Professor Xu Yi Jun, a doctor from the well-known TCM Center, prescribes 2g to 3g of placental powder daily to improve blood fertility and circulation and make the body more resistant to disease.

You can also find them in general at a beauty salon in various forms. At a certain beauty salon at the Mandarin Hotel Shopping Arcade, it offers health tonics, facial essence and hair tonics that are said to contain human placenta. Another major spa chain triggers a placenta using sheep placenta as an "alternative to Botox".

According to a Health Science Authority (HSA) spokesperson, "placenta from both human and animal origin is now allowed in cosmetic products". However, "eye and dental product dealers are required to provide proof of security support". But as face creams and face masks are considered "low risk" products, they are not subject to HSA approval.

The Food Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States classifies animal extracts from organs such as potentially dangerous placenta.

Of the 12 doctors who spoke, only two admitted to treating placental extract, although one did not administer the injection.

While most doctors refrain from commenting on placenta and proper cosmetic merits, five, including Dr Chua Jun Jin, a consultant plastic surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Medical Center, agree that there is not enough medical evidence to show that it works.

Comparing placenta therapy to bird's nest and snake oil, Dr Chua said: "Some people may swear by it, but if it is a potent ingredient, some people will study it deeply."

One doctor, who chose to remain anonymous due to fear of reactions from other doctors, admitted to injecting the essence of the human placenta with demands in small quantities on the face and body. But "patients have to bring their own supply". He also didn't see any adverse effects. He believes the only reason the treatment is controversial is not because it is dangerous, but because "it was not taught in medical school, but only developed in medical practice".

Dr Wong Yok Meng, who specializes in detoxification and anti-aging drugs, has prescribed the treatment of human placenta for the past 10 years.

Although he said he did not inject placenta extract directly into the body, he prescribed oral and oral placenta extract to rejuvenate the skin of his patients, mostly women and over the age of 40.

She observes that the treatment "does not remove wrinkles, but helps to give the skin a youthful appearance by smoothing the lines and improving cell renewal".

The oral tablet for one month is around S $ 500, while the topical solution costs around S $ 100. Dr Wong said he did not see any adverse effects on any of his patients.

But one of the concerns of Dr Joyce Lim, a well-known dermatologist, is that the use of placental extracts in injections and medicines is that it involves "the transmission of genetic material and can cause allergies".

Indeed, in a case reported in the Yomiuri Shubun paper last January, a Japanese woman in her 40s developed acute liver disease after being injected with the essence of a human placenta at a Tokyo beauty center.

Perhaps, in the future before you consider eating this incredible special meal, stop and think if it is in danger of ruining your health in the name of beauty.
