How To Have A Healthy Day

You can have a healthy day throughout the day by making good choices about your diet, exercise and activities throughout the day. The following plans are part of my healthy lifestyle that I try to follow as often as I can. Keep in mind I'm retired and can adjust my daily schedule as much as I like. You may need to get the job right! Yikes, what is he thinking! More ...
7:00 AM ... Start your day off with some swelling or exercise when you get out of bed. This puts oxygen into your muscles and gives you the energy to start your morning. Stretching and exercise in the morning will increase your metabolism.
8:00 am ... Have a hearty breakfast of oats, nuts and apples. "One apple a day goes to make a doctor go." Apples are low in calories and increase your longevity. Top with a cup of green tea to boost your body's defense against toxins. Toxins can contribute to heart attacks, stroke and many other ailments. Don't skip breakfast to keep your motor running all day long. Remember to take vitamins and supplements before starting your day. You can brighten your mood with happy colors as you dress. Yellow is a happy color, red is for energy.
9:00 AM ... Walk, run or ride your bike for an hour. I rode my bike to the gym to warm up before hitting the treadmill. A little sunlight provides the vitamin D needed to slow down the aging process. Be sure to protect your skin and wear sunscreen to keep wrinkles and skin cancer. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Fill up your water bottle and bring it with you.
10:00 am ... I hit the gym about 3 times a week for good work hours or 2 hours. The days outside and the weather allowed me to ride my motorcycle for an hour. Make sure you take plenty of water with you to hydrate your system.
11:30 AM ... Take some time to refresh yourself with a good warm shower after your workout. What is really refreshing is to run some cold water on your body at the end of your bath to stimulate your body and mood.
12:30 ... Make sure you have a healthy lunch and drink a glass of tea or water. I like a good salad. There is a lot of vitamin K in salads and spinach. Vitamin K helps increase the elasticity of the skin. Another great antifungal drug. Add some chicken to your salad for protein to build muscle and help you stay awake.
1: 00-3: 00 ... This is a good time to do chores, clean houses or just read. Reading is my favorite past and a great way to keep your mind alert and healthy. Give your brain a chance to improve and master something new. Do a puzzle or play a game. Journal writing is also good for your mind and spirit.
3:00 PM ... You should always have a snack, maybe 2 during the day, so your body doesn't store fat. Your body will do that if you wait too long between meals or skip meals. Nibble is lightweight but has a snack. Some peanuts, a piece of fruit or a small piece of dark chocolate are a great choice. Oranges have vitamin C, fight wrinkles, help fight age-related dry skin and only 70 calories. Strawberries, kiwi peppers and cantaloupe also contain vitamin C.
3:30 pm ... In the summer I like spending time outdoors, in the pool, on the patio, or working around the yard. Relax, catch up with friends or play with your pets. This will reduce depression and improve your immune system.
6: 30-7: 30PM ... Dinner is around this time, I try not to eat anything later than 7:30 to make sure I have cleaned my dinner enough to ensure a good night's sleep. It is important to maintain a healthy immune system with lots of omega 3s that regulate your metabolism, reduce inflammation and balance your blood sugar. Fish, salmon fish especially, and broccoli-like vegetables are my favorite of having omega 3. A cup of herbal tea or a nice glass of wine makes a special dinner.
7:30 PM ... This is a good time to relax and enjoy the evening. Watching TV, listening to music, working on a computer or scrolling through a good book are some of my favorite things. In warm weather just sit on the patio or walk the most enjoyable. All of these activities reduce stress and prepare you for a fun dream.
11:00 PM ... Early to bed and early rises make men (or women) healthy, rich and wise. Old adage, but true, especially healthy part. I'm not sure about the rich! Go to bed at the same time every night with something fun in your mind. This will help you get a good night's sleep so you can wake up and be ready to start a healthy day!
Taking care of yourself physically, mentally and spiritually will help you retain your youth and add to your life. Plan a perfect healthy day including nutrition, exercise and ways to relieve stress. One will lead to two or three and soon all your days will be healthier.
